Pattern generator DG-8000

General purpose 6 channel pulse generator

Pattern generator DG-8000

Extensive options other than general-purpose 6-channel pulse generator

·         If you use the inverter/PPG option, you can easily output the control signal of the inverter.

·         If you use the simple sync option, you can output sync up to 3 units (18CH).

Introduction of useful software

Modulation arbitrary waveform creation program

You can create modulated arbitrary waveforms, operation pattern control waveforms, and PPG waveforms in PPG mode.

Serial data creation sample program

You can create "UART", "SPI", and "I2C" serial data.

Features as a "general purpose 6-channel pulse generator"

Easily generate independent 6-channel pulses

Seamless change

·         The frequency and pulse width can be changed seamlessly during oscillation.

Tracking function

·         The pulse width and delay time can be changed simultaneously for any combination of channels.

Gap time control

·         Dead time can be easily controlled by the combination between specific channels.

External modulation function (Option DG-601)

·         Pulse width modulation and delay time modulation can be performed by an external signal.

Operation pattern control (Option DG-801)

·         A continuous operation test can be performed by performing frequency variable control.

Synchronization of multiple units (Option DG-602)

·         Synchronous output of 3 units (18 channels) is possible with the simple synchronization option

Example of synchronizing 3 DG-8000 units with the simple synchronization option

Example of operating three DG-8000s in synchronization

Features as "inverter control signal generator"

Inverter control signal generation (Option DG-801)

·         You can easily generate the control pulses needed to test the inverter.

·         It can output four types of control signals: back chopper, single-phase bipolar, single-phase unipolar, and three-phase two-level.

Seamless change

·         The frequency and pulse width can be changed seamlessly during oscillation.

Gap time control

·         It is possible to prevent devices in the UX phase, VY phase, and WZ phase from turning on at the same time.

External modulation function (Option DG-601)

·         Pulse width modulation and delay time modulation can be performed by an external signal.

Operation pattern control (Option DG-802)

·         A continuous operation test can be performed by performing frequency variable control.

Inverter control signal generation method and output example

A control signal can be generated by setting "1. Carrier frequency Fc", "2. Modulation frequency Fm", and "3. Modulation degree (ratio of amplitude of modulated wave to carrier amplitude)".

Gap time control prevents up and down on

With the gap time control, the set dead time is automatically generated.

・The dead time remains constant even if the frequency or cycle changes.
-The gap time can be changed even during oscillation.
・By setting a negative time, it is also possible to make the time of simultaneous ON by overlapping on the contrary.

Preventing the upper and lower power devices of the inverter from turning on at the same
time Controlling the gap time is troublesome, which helps to improve development efficiency.

Example of variable frequency control of PWM (pulse width modulation) signal

Easily output the PWM signal. Ideal for inverter testing!

The inverter/PPG option makes it easy to obtain an output with a PWM signal, which is convenient for inverter testing. Supports

Variable frequency control of PWM signal is possible. Ideal for continuous operation test of inverter!

The operation pattern option allows frequency variable control and modulation degree control, which is convenient for continuous operation tests. The control pattern is controlled by an arbitrary waveform prepared in advance.

Features as an "arbitrary pulse pattern generator (PPG)"

Arbitrary pulse pattern signal generation (Option DG-801)

·         The PPG function operates as a 6-channel complex logic signal generator with a pulse pattern prepared in advance.

·         Waveform patterns can be created with the waveform creation application (free).

·         Frequency specification mode: Specify the repetition frequency of the arbitrary pulse pattern.

·         Clock specification mode: Specify the output frequency for each data.
