Model 3540 Network Emulator and Tester for USB

Product Overview:

The Rochelle Model 3540 is a portable USB-based telephone network emulator and tester for next generation telephony applications. This platform can effectively capture and reproduce telephone network conditions and impairments that impact voice quality.

The Model 3540 features two channels, each independently configurable as a CO line (FXS) or telephone terminal (FXO). The combination of a DSP subsystem and a Windows PC audio processor, allows the generation and measurement of virtually any network tone, FSK modem, noise, and voice signals.

The 3540 is easily configured and controlled through a Windows (98SE/ME/2000/XP) software application. A powerful scripting language and an optional DLL can be used for automated operation in custom test applications.

The Model 3540 is ideal for the emulation and testing of modern CPE, including smart phones, Integrated Access Devices (IADs), Interactive Voice Responsive (IVR) systems, and modems. It is also well-suited for monitoring and reproducing voice service problems, in particular those associated with CPE performance.
